Cheonan’s Green Startup Town (GST), known as a hub for innovative startups, is seeing strong performance from its resident and partner companies in AI-driven procurement and video production.

According to coverage compiled by the Daejeon Ilbo, AIgement (CEO Shin-hyuk Cho) is preparing to launch its AI-powered automated procurement cost-reduction solution, PLYN (Procurement Logic You Need), at the end of this month. PLYN is an advanced version of Al-mighty, a solution released last year that automated key purchasing tasks such as closing, ordering, and RFQ requests—processes that typically account for the largest share of procurement workload.

While Al-mighty’s capabilities were more distributed, PLYN maximizes efficiency. Its AI identifies optimal suppliers that can reduce procurement costs and automatically collects quotation responses. Routine procurement tasks—from ordering to closing—can also be handled seamlessly through PLYN.

AIgement is an AI-focused SaaS company that aims to create an efficient business management environment by enabling humans and AI to work side-by-side. Founded on July 11, 2023, the company formed ties with GST after being selected for JB Ventures’ batch program in June. In September, AIgement established a sales office inside GST.

CEO Shin-hyuk Cho said,
“Food manufacturing companies across Chungnam can significantly reduce procurement costs and strengthen competitiveness by adopting PLYN. We are also planning to expand into the U.S. next year.”
