AIgment presented PLYN, an AI-powered procurement automation solution for manufacturing companies’ purchasing teams.

PLYN is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that integrates and analyzes procurement data, market information, and supplier data to support the entire procurement process in a single, seamless workflow, from decision-making to execution. While traditional procurement systems have focused mainly on record-keeping and approvals, PLYN aims to proactively detect procurement issues, propose actionable strategies, and connect them directly to measurable procurement outcomes.

Procurement history, market prices, and supplier information are automatically standardized, eliminating the need for practitioners to manually organize data across Excel files and scattered documents. Through AI-based analysis, price anomalies, lack of competition, and potential risk factors are identified in advance, with data-backed insights clearly presented to support procurement decisions.

PLYN consists of several core features designed around real-world procurement workflows. Through a data cleansing and classification engine that automatically collects and processes data from ERP systems, Excel files, and various supporting documents, items, suppliers, and transaction conditions are automatically categorized and validated for consistency. This reduces the manual workload required for data entry and organization by approximately 60% to up to 97%.

Based on historical procurement data, PLYN generates strategic sourcing scenarios and automatically builds competitive bidding structures that include both existing and new suppliers, seamlessly leading into RFQ (Request for Quotation) execution. The processes of RFQ creation, distribution, and response collection are automated, reducing the time required for quotation requests by more than 90% compared to traditional workflows.

When applied to real-world procurement operations, PLYN can reduce the workload required for purchase preparation, organization, and comparison by more than 50%, and shorten RFQ and quotation processing lead times by approximately 60%. The rate of operational errors caused by input mistakes or missing data can also be reduced by more than 70%. Furthermore, by strengthening competitive supplier structures, companies can expect an average unit cost reduction of around 6 to 8%.

Another key strength of PLYN lies in its user experience (UX) design, which minimizes the learning curve so that procurement professionals can adapt quickly even on their first use. The interface is structured to closely reflect real-world procurement workflows, reducing the burden of menu navigation. Through auto-fill, reuse, and template-based processes, the number of required inputs, clicks, and validation steps is minimized.
